through our location, we would like to reflect various personality traits - for example sophie being very artistic and jamie being adventurous  - so we thought towns and villages would be a good starting point for us to explore. The advantages of this is that we will both get very scenic views and quirky locations. Ideally we would like to film outside of london, so we looked into towns and villages to film in…. So inspiration- We looked into different areas in the UK including…. To also add on, to develop the storyline the script writing team told me to look into specific locations where  jamies is gonna take us on to find his sis- these places that attracted sophie. This will tie in together to make the storyline visually pleasing and really symbolic.

Thursday concludes our pitch and statement of intent and we’re awaiting feedback for it, however there has been suggestions and cautions of working with children and where and when to start looking for them. Nicholas has encouraged us to get the ball rolling as being able to coordinate children’s schedule may take quite a bit of time and our shoots might be pushed back to February during our term break, which we will have to accommodate accordingly. overall we’re very happy with our pitch, having looked at all aspects from story, to characters, to risks, to locations and to budgets. We hoped to have given a professional pitch, while also evenly dividing the pitch for each member to show our passion and seriousness in the project we want to finish our degree with.
